Musterlist / For yacht managers / Managed charters

The charters brokers send you, and the money around them.

When a broker hands you a charter, your crew gets the guest list, your office logs every expense and the APA with its receipts, and the owner gets the finances, the payment schedule and a statement. One place, per yacht and per season.

A managed charter's finances: figures, commission, net to the owner and the APA
How it works

From the broker's invitation to the owner's statement.

  1. The broker invites youAn email link to their charter; create your free account from it, or open the guest list with a code.
  2. Your team sees itThe charter appears under Managed charters for everyone at your company.
  3. The crew logs the weekFuel, provisioning, marinas, with the receipt; APA in and out.
  4. The owner settlesFigures, payments received, and a statement as a PDF.
Expenses & APA

Every euro of the APA, with its receipt.

Each line has what it was, the date, the amount, whether it came from the APA or the owner's company, and the receipt or invoice. The APA box keeps the balance: requested, received, spent, and what goes back to the client.

  • Money out: fuel, provisioning, marina and port fees, transfers, activities, communications
  • Money in: APA received, paid on board by the guests, refunds
  • Nothing is deleted: a wrong line is voided with a reason and stays struck through

For the crew

The guest list, and nothing they shouldn't see.

Names, allergies and diet, arrivals and departures, passport number and expiry, and the group's preferences, ready to print. Never medical notes, emergency contacts or the broker's notes.

  • Print or download, watermarked with who and when
  • Every opening is logged, and the broker can see it

Finances, for the owner only

What the charter brought in, and what is left.

Only the company owner sees the finances; the crew sees the guest list and the expenses, the broker sees none of it.

FiguresCharter fee, VAT, delivery and redelivery, extras, the APA requested and the broker's commission, in EUR, USD or GBP.
SummarySubtotal, VAT, what the client pays, the commission and the net to the owner, worked out for you.
Payment scheduleDeposit, balance and APA, from the client or the broker, with due dates; overdue ones stand out.
Charter statementA PDF for the owner, the client's APA settlement, the broker or your accountant. No guest names.
Season totalsPer yacht and per year: charters and nights, net to the owner, APA spent, costs and the result.
A record of changesEvery change to the figures is kept in a log that can't be edited.
The season

Every yacht's year, side by side.

A charter counts in the year it starts. Currencies are never mixed. And your own charters, the ones you sell yourself, fit in the same place: mark a charter as yours and it joins the list.

Managed charters works together with the Channel Manager, which keeps those same yachts in sync across your booking systems.

Questions

About managed charters

Do I pay to receive a broker's charter?

Can my crew see the finances?

No. Members see the guest details and the expenses and APA; the finances are for the company owner only.

Does the broker see my expenses?

No. The broker sees none of your expenses, receipts or finances.

Can I fix a line I entered wrong?

Lines can't be edited: void it with a reason and enter it again, so the account always shows what happened.
