Good to know

  • For now proposals work with CYA only: yachts come from a search of your company's CYA account, and a proposal can't hold a yacht typed by hand.
  • The availability check is a warning, not a block: you decide.
  • Editing a sent proposal emails nobody; the client sees "Updated" when they open it.
Questions

About proposals

Does the link expire?

No. It stays the same as you edit. Only sending again after the client declined makes a new link and stops the old one.

Will I know when my client opens it?

Yes: a view count and when they last looked. You get an email when they choose a yacht, send a message, approve or decline.

Can the client download it?

Yes, as a PDF, from their page.

Can I add a yacht that isn't on CYA?

Not in a proposal, for now. For a charter of any yacht, typed by name, use Charters.
